Cash Reward for Golf Course Vandal Arrest
A Vernon Township golf course is fixing up after a vandal did some major damage to the course. And now, the owner is offering a cash reward, to catch the person who did it. The second green at Whispering Pines Golf Course was destroyed by vandals over the weekend. The incident happened sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. The suspect leaves behind an estimated $20-thousand dollars worth of damage. Now, a one-thousand dollar reward being offered for any information leading to an arrest. Due to the location, the owner believes the suspect is familiar with the course. "There's no question the person that did it, knows the golf course," said Owner Bill Kingzett. "It's the most secluded green on the course. He knew he had to come in off the road, because one of the holes above us is the way to enter, to get down here."
