Obama Continues Healthcare Reform Pitch
(St. Louis, MO) -- For the second time this week, President Obama hit the road to pitch healthcare reform. At a campaign-style rally in St. Louis, Obama put healthcare atop a long list of things that need to be reformed. He said the complex and costly U.S. healthcare system is riddled with waste, fraud and abuse. The President has also accused big health insurance companies of putting profits before patients. The Obama administration has initiated a full-court press to secure final passage of health insurance reform legislation in Congress. Earlier this week, Obama presided over a similar rally in Pennsylvania. |
