Erie Police Investigating Death
Erie police are trying to piece together the details of an overnight stabbing in the city.
It happened around 11:30 Tuesday night in a house in the 2900 block of German street.
Police got a report of a stabbing.
When they got there, they found a man dead on the floor.
As of Tuesday morning, Erie police were not releasing much details, but word from the scene was that it may have been a botched robbery attempt, with the would-be robber getting stabbed to death.
Neighbors told 12News that the man who lived there was taken away in a police car.
No word from police yet on the identities of anyone involved.
