 (ARA) - When shopping for gifts this holiday season, remember the phrases "less is more," and "quality over quantity." With clothing and apparel the most popular holiday gifts from year to year, it's important in this economy to be a smart shopper.
This holiday, nearly two-thirds of Americans plan to spend less than previous years. According to the National Retail Federation, 2009 will be the "holiday season for the serious bargain hunter." * Hourglass - The bootcut is the most universally flattering fit. For an extra slimming boost, look for styles that have a higher knee, which will enhance a leg-lengthening effect.
* Pear shaped/ full-figured - If a person is pear-shaped or full-figured, darker finishes are always flattering and can add a dramatic vibe.
